about dance against cancer
Dance Against Cancer was founded in 2010 by Erin Fogarty and Daniel Ulbricht, friends, artists, and children of parents who bravely battled cancer. DAC's mission is to bring the global arts community together to fight cancer through dance, with an annual performance featuring the dance world's brightest stars and an annual youth performance featuring the industry's future stars.
Dance Against Cancer events and volunteer projects benefit the American Cancer Society's
patient programs and cancer research.
Past performers have included: Misty Copeland, Ayodele Casel, James Whiteside, Tiler Peck, Alex Wong, Kevin Boseman, Stella Abrera, Matthew Rushing, Gillian Murphy, Zoey Anderson, Nev Schulman, Isabella Boylston, Lauren Lovette, Herman Cornejo, Roman Mejia, Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance, Jacob Jonas The Company, and many more...
